Captain Harvey’s Subs & Pizza held a Ribbon Cutting for the Grand Opening Saturday March 6 2010 at noon. New owner/manager Gene Park had many on hand for the celebration.

Dundalk Florist is celebrating their 100 Year Anniversary! They have been in business at the same location on German Hill Road since 1910. The Dundalk Florist has grown over the years and expanded into one of the nicest gift shops in the area. The business is now run by the 4th generation with 5th generation help.

Dotty Cristy won 3rd place in the North Point Photo Contest in September. She also won 5 ribbons at the Maryland State Fair in August. Congratulations Dotty!

On Saturday, June 13 2009, Donna's Tavern held the finals for the 5th Dundalk Idol Contest. After several weeks of elimination rounds, ten contestants were left. Each contestant sang 3 songs and were judged by 4 judges in several categories accumulating points. At the end of the night all customers cast a vote for their favorite singer. All contestants received a beautiful ribboned medal for their participation. Second runner up was Samantha Christiansen. First runner up was Angela Balog. Each received another beautiful medal. The winner, Jennifer Feyjoo received a beautiful ribboned medal, a tropy, $1,000, a recording contract and will perform several duties throughout the next year in and around the Dundalk community.
Donna is dedicated to this talent contest and attends to every detail. Donna's family also surprised her and Don with a cake because it was also their birthday.
