February Luncheon at CCBC Circuit Court Judge Patrick Stringer spoke to a packed house of over 40 Chamber members and guests On February 20, 2008 at a Luncheon at CCBC Dundalk Campus. Judge Stringer's topic of "Sentencing Guidelines" was very informative. He also answered several questions about other aspects of his job. We appreciate Judge Stringer finding time in his busy day to come and share his knowledge of the court system with us and we hope to have him visit again. View here.
Snowball Gala 2008 The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce held its annual Snowball Gala at Sparrows Point Country Club on January 19. Guest speakers were Kerry Cavanaugh of Channel 11 News, Dr. Joe Hariston, Superintendent of Baltimore County Schools and Circuit Court Judge Patrick Stringer who did the installation of Officers and Board Members for 2008. Over 120 guests enjoyed the delicious "Chicken A La Maryland". There was music by the band "5th Avenue" which brought many out to the floor to dance and some to sing. Many thanks to Holly McJilton DiCostanzo, Chairperson of the event, along with her committee of Gloria McJilton and Scott Gardner. The Gala was sponsored by the Community College of Baltimore County, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, The Dundalk Eagle the What's Happening Magazine, Dundalk Florist, SunTrust Bank and Rolynn Vending. Chamber Holiday Luncheon 2007 The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce held their Holiday Luncheon at Sparrows Point Country Club December 12th. The Great Expectations from the Patapsco Center for the Arts provided entertainment. There were many baskets auctioned off and a free pass was given for our next event in February. View here.

Networking Event at the Playbook Sports Bar and Grill The Dundalk Chamber of Commerce held a Networking Event at the "Playbook Sports Bar and Grill" on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. While enjoying the food and drink, members also enjoyed the 30 TV's which were tuned into every sports program available. The "Playbook" is the "Newest Sports Bar" in the Dundalk area. View here.

Crab Feast 2007 Beautiful weather prevailed over us as we gathered for the 5th Annual Chamber Crab Feast on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. The Crabs were hot and the beer was cold!!! We gathered in the back yard, park-like setting, of hosts Auggie and Louise Koch. Side dishes were in abundance including Miss Louise's cream of crab soup, absolutely delicious!!!!! View here.

Outstanding Teachers Awards 2007 Chairperson of the Education Committee and Principle of Dundalk High - Peggy Johnson. Winning Teachers: Judy Bechtel, Tamara Cole, Nancy Null, Linda Gronberg - Quinn, Dr. Carol Sullivan - President of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and Scott Gardner - Vice - President. Teachers received a $500 check from the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce plus other checks, gift certificates and gifts from other Chamber members. Many local politicians also presented the teachers with certificates and citations. View here.
Snowball Gala 2007 On Saturday, January 20, 2007 the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce had it's annual Snow Ball Gala and Installation of Officers at the Sparrows Point Country Club. The attendance was over 100 which included members, friends and distinguished guests. Vice President Scott Gardner opened the evening festivities with his comments and introduced President Dr. Carol Sullivan. Dr. Sullivan's message highlighted the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce's contributions to the Dundalk community. Reverend Erickson did the invocation and we all enjoyed a wonderful meal including Chicken Ala Maryland. Spirits were flowing and music by "5th Avenue" fill the air as we waited for special Honored Guest Governor Robert Ehrlich, Jr. and his wife to arrive. The Governor had some special remarks which included his love and appreciation for Delegate John Arnick and how he will be missed in Annapolis. Then the Governor did the Installation of Officers and Board Members for 2007. Dr Carol Sullivan also had a special award for the Governor from the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce thanking him for his service to Dundalk. The Governor's busy schedule kept his visit short but sweet. We danced the night away as the evening wound down and a good time was had by all. View here.
